The circuit

The above diagram represents the circuitry that will need to be built on the daughterboard.
Steve Chambers has published a circuit and excellent instructions which allow a Hauppauge WinTV USB capture device to be used with a modified 1004X. Steve's circuit works well, but uses a slightly different configuration for the relays etc. If you have already built the above interface, or if you want to be able to use the camera with a PCI card or with the USB device, then you might find this variation on Steve's circuit useful. This shows a circuit which can be placed between a WinTV USB device and a camera modified according to my instructions above. If you decide to build this interface then I recommend that you read Steve's instructions first.
